Baso Sangqu

Baso Sangqu (21 April 1968, in Idutywa, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa)is the South African permanent representative to the United Nations. He was appointed on 17 March 2009, having served as deputy previously. Exactly two years later, on 17 March 2011 he voted in favour of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 at the Security Council.

He is a member of the ICC search committee to find a replacement for Luis Moreno-Ocampo.[1]
